Directions to South Miami Community Center

From I-95 South

Take I-95 South to the end. Continue onto South Dixie Highway (U.S. 1) for 5 – 7 miles.  Pass SW 40 ST, pass Riviera, and pass University of Miami (on your right).  As you approach SW 57 AVE, you will see Sunset Place on your left.  Turn right at that intersection onto SW 57 Ave (Red Road) – heading North.  Go left (West) at SW 66 ST – this is the first left just after the first traffic light.  The South Miami Community Center is on your left, about ½ block down.  If the lot is full, you can park in the parking lot on the corner of SW 57 AVE and SW 66 ST.

From 826 (Palmetto Expressway)

From 826 (Palmetto Expressway) heading south, take the SW 56 ST (Miller Drive) exit and go left (East), go about 2 miles, go right (South) onto SW 57 Ave (Red Road).  Go right (West) at SW 66 ST.  The South Miami Community Center is on your left, about ½ block down.  If the lot is full, you can park in the parking lot on the corner of SW 57 AVE and SW 66 ST.

Our first batizado in 2005 was a wonderful success!  Sincere thanks to all the visiting mestres, contra-mestres, professores, instrutores and capoeiristas.
